Favorite Cola Roast

- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 4 lb bottom round roast -- (4 to 5) shopping list
- 3 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 12 ounces cola shopping list
- 12 ounces chili sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (Tabasco) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325ºF.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, and garlic powder; rub over surface of roast.
- In a Dutch oven, heat the oil to hot and brown roast on all sides.
- Transfer roast to roasting pan.
- Combine all the remaining ingredients; pour over roast.
- Cover and roast for 2 1/2-3 hours until tender.
- Remove and let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
- Makes great leftovers for sandwiches!
