How to make it

  • Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350.
  • Baste chicken several times with sauce throughout the hour.
  • To make sauce combine ketchup,venigar,sugar,honey,soya sauce, and the tobasco sauce .

    I made this for dinner last night and it was just perfect! As Frankieanne stated below, the perfect balance of flavors. I also mixed the sauce stove top to be sure it was blended and basted every 15 minutes. I did sub brown sugar for white & cut the quantities in half as well & still had a lot left over. This will be making it into our regular rotation. My beau was so impressed!

    This was so good! Just enough tangy, just enough sweet. I heated up the sauce in a saucepan for a bit to make sure everything was really blended together. I had six pieces of chicken and cut the sauce in half and had plenty. I basted about every 15 minutes so I upped the oven temperature to 375 for the last half hour because I kept opening the door. I had a friend over for lunch. He said to rate it five stars! :) Added my picture, too.

    I make this with brown sugar and more hot sauce but yum!!! I also put in fresh crushed garlic with the sauce cause I'm crazy about the stuff (go through 2 heads a week on avgerage, just me!)
