Ingredients
  • Creamy Nutella Cheesecake
  • Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Filling
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (13 ounce) jar Nutella

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine crust ingredients. Pat into the
  3. bottom of springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In the bowl of a mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and
  5. vanilla extract until just combined. Add egg yolks and egg, beat
  6. on low until just combined. Add milk and Nutella and mix
  7. completely.
  8. Pour filling into springform pan. Reduce oven temperature to 300
  9. degrees F. Place springform pan on a deep cookie sheet and then
  10. place in oven. Create a water bath by adding water to the outer
  11. cookie sheet, just enough to fill the pan halfway up the side of
  12. the springform pan. This will help buffer the heat from the
  13. bottom of the oven.
  14. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until center appears set when shaken
  15. lightly. Remove from water bath and cool on a wire rack. Remove
  16. cake from pan, cool, and store in the refrigerator.

I had to look up Nutella, looks good to me. The recipe looks calorie free. Hey how is the bargaining going with Shirley?

LOL well I haven't started that yet, but she usually calls on the weekend so I'll put on my bargaining boots and be prepared LOL

Wonder if she's wondering what this is all about :) LOL

Wow a Nutella cheesecake. How different! I'll be trying this one. Hey henrie is your Fudge Truffle cheesecake calorie free too? LOL

You can get Nutella in the states? aren't you the lucky ones! no wonder we dont have enough to go around here :-). wonderful post, Henrie. i don't eat the stuff, as you know, but am prepared to doanything for my guests - and THIS one i am sure to participate in eating, too. what a terrific idea!

I brought this to a party yesterday, and it was a big hit! pat2me, pleclare and wynnebear will all agree that it was delicious. 1 addition: I warmed up more Nutella in the microwave, poured some on top of the batter, & swirled it through before baking. BIG yummy - got my 5 (wish I could give it a 6!)

I made this yesterday for my son's graduation because cheesecake is his favorite and he also loves nutella.....He called me at 10:30 last night to tell me again how much he loved it....That's what it's all about for me...making my family happy with the things I make....Thanks you so much for this recipe, Henrie....My family will enjoy it for years to come...:)

Nutella and cheesecake, what more could you ask for? This recipe is wonderful. I used chocolate graham crackers for the crust. Thanks so much for sharing Henrie!
