How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Whip potatoes with enough hot milk to make light and fluffy
  • Season with salt and pepper as you like
  • Pile into greased baking bowl mounding into a volcano shape
  • Make a crater in the center. approx 2 inches deep and 3 inches across
  • Whip the cream, and fold in the cheese
  • Pour cream and cheese mixture into the crater
  • Bake for about 35 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly and oozing over the top

    Where did you get this one. I think I sleep with potatoes in my bed...I will use this casserole for the cold nights...You obviously have great cooks in your house. A different recipe. I think I will make this thanksgiving so I dont have to do the mashed. LOL Mama will go anywhere for good food!
