Cinnamon Cream Syrup Recipe
A quick and easy cinnamon cream syrup for pancakes, oatmeal, anything you want to pile a cinnamon flavor on. This is great on any baked sweet out of the oven, well almost anything.

Ingredients
  • 5 T. butter (I use salted)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • ½ t. maple extract

Directions
  1. melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients, whisking constantly until sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. That's it.
  4. Store extra in refrigerator
  5. Reheat to serve or spread on toast or muffins or sweet cakes or you name it.
