The stout in this recipe really brings out the flavor of the chocolate, but it doesn't taste like there is beer in it. Use Beamish or Murphy's Irish Stout, or Guiness always works too.

Great idea, i love cooking with beer. Especially with stouts but it's always challenging because of their bitter taste. This is definitely a great brownies recipe for dark chocolate lovers. The bitter taste of the stout will blend in perfectly with the bitterness of chocolate. You have my 5 and i will try it.
