Tried this last night. It was good. I too found the coating was way too much for the amount of shrimp called for in the recipe. My main problem with this recipe I think though is that the bread crumbs didn't really want to stay on the shrimp. The flour did, but not the crumbs. If I made this again in the future I might wet the shrimp more with milk? first and then into the crumb mixture. The spices were nice and the butter Dijon mixture over top was a good idea too. I had one problem with this recipe and it was the amount of coating. It was way too much and I ended up throwing half of it away. I had .67 pounds of shrimp and I cut the coating ingredients in half and still threw a lot away. There is enough for two pounds of shrimp if you make the recipe as written.
That being said - this was delicious. I really loved the herb flavors that were in here. I had trouble getting the cold mustard to mix with the warm butter and had some mustard lumps when I drizzled it on and was concerned about that but I guess they baked out. This is a handy recipe for fall/winter when my herb garden is down. Very tasty. I added a couple of pictures and a thread in IMI. 11/23/13

I tried to make this. ): But after I put them in the oven I suddenly realized why the shrimp looked funny when I took them out of the fridge. They had spoiled! So I had to toss them once the cooled. ;__; I will try it again soon though!!!
