Excellent! I love crusty bread!

Sounds very good and easy to make even.
Thanks. I too love crusty breads. Of
course, I like all home baked breads.
My daughter just sent me a wonderul book
of breads of the world.

Shouldn't this have olive oil in it? :)

This sounds great! Can't wait to try it! Thanks!

Have printed out the recipe.Sounds so good and easy.I think I would try olive oil in place of the regular vegetable oil.Thanks.

I have been on a mission to make bread for the past three months now. Today is the day!!! oh, i have to agree with jennywren, I am going to go with olive oil instead of veggy oil.

This was the absolute best Italian bread ever! It's not dense...so soft and sweet! The outside crust isn't too hard...it's perfect!! I added a little Italian Seasoning on top before putting it into the oven and it was wonderful!!!! Thanks Shirleyoma!
