How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 375F.
  • Season the pork with salt and pepper and place in a roasting pan.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the honey, juice, oil and thyme. Pour over the pork.
  • Add the broth to the pan.
  • Bake until internal temperature reaches 150F (45-60 minutes). Baste frequently.
  • Strain the pan juices into a saucepan.
  • Reduce until slightly thickened.
  • Serve over the sliced pork.

    We absolutely loved this and will be making again. I did have to work with the temp and time a bit as it was a 5 1/2 lb. loin I was working with. But the sauce was fantastic! Became such a beautiful reddish brown color...oh, I did add a bit of cornstarch to the sauce just to thicken it a bit. Not proficient at the reducing thing. lol

    Served with mashed potatoes and roasted zucchini. Wonderful combination!
