This is for my sis. She loves tomato soup. From the Tightwad Gazette II.

Ingredients
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 24 oz milk (refill tomato paste can four times)
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp celery seed
Directions
- Put tomato paste in a small saucepan.
- Add the milk using the can, rinsing thoroughly.
- Add the salt and the celery seed.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

I chunked up a whole tomato to go in there and added a can of condensed cheddar soup. But the flavor was just fine before I made the additions.

So my 7 year old who has been home all week with a fever and an ear infection decides today is the day she will eat. So she wants to have tomato soup and grilled cheese. Of course, I have no tomato soup, so this came in handy. She gave it 2 thumbs up and coming from her that is a high mark. Thanks for the recipe. Definitely a keeper.
