Veal Chops With Mushroom Sauce

- 2 Tbl olive oil. shopping list
- 2 Tbl minced onion shopping list
- 2 Tbl minced celery shopping list
- 8 medium size minced mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 Tsp pepper shopping list
- flour shopping list
- 1 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded prosciutto ham shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tbl capers shopping list
- 4 veal Chops shopping list
- Italian or French bread shopping list
How to make it
- In a small pan heat: olive oil and cook: minced onion,minced carrot and minced celery for about 10 minutes
- Add: tomato sauce, shredded prosciutto ham and capers and cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 1 1/2 cup sauce
- Veal: Dip the chops into flour and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sauted in: 1/3 cup of butter for 3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned. Add the mushroom sauce, cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
- Serve with bread : does wonders if any sauce left
