Chicken with Beer and Mushrooms

- 1 chicken approx. 1 kilo cut in pieces shopping list
- 2 shallots chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic (peeled) shopping list
- 500 gr. mushrooms sliced shopping list
- 2 cups beer shopping list
- 1 tbs mustard shopping list
- 250 gr. milk cream shopping list
- 3 tbs olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 bunch parsley finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp coriander shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl with cover we put the chicken pieces, beer, mustard and spices.We refrigerate for at least 6 hours, stirring occasionaly so that the meat marinates well.
- In a large pan we gently saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil until soft.
- Add the strained chicken and saute until golden brown from all sides.
- Add the mushrooms and saute for 7-8 more minutes.
- Add the marinade liquid and reduce the fire to a slow simmer, cover and simmer for approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- When the sauce starts to thicken we add the milk cream and simmer for 5 minutes more.
- Serve with the chopped parsley.

I think a lager would be perfect since they are the most common and I have used them a lot
