Maryland Crab Cakes Recipe

As I definitely can't get crabcakes eating out in England if I want a reminder of home this is the recipe for me. It is very quick to make and they have a delicious flavor. Ingredients

1 pound crabmeat

1 cup of Italian bread crumbs or freshly ground

1 large egg

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

salt - dash

pepper - dash

1 teaspoon dry mustard

Oil for frying

Directions

Mix the crab meat, bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, and seasonings.

Mix gently but thoroughly.

Shape into 6 cakes.

Cook cakes in frying pan with just enough oil to prevent sticking.

Cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.

Season lightly with salt and pepper.
