For that quick doe-nut fix! So good and you can fix it up with goodies..

Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar (I use 1/2 Splenda)
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla (flavor of choice, butter or lemon is good)
- 3 c. flour (I use 1/2 WW flour)
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- Optional:
- 1/2 cup raisens or chopped nuts or craisins or chocolate chips also chopped apple
Directions
- Mix above ingredients well. Drop by tbsp. in hot fat and deep fry
- until golden brown. Roll in cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar if
- desired or just plain!

Fresh warm donut holes are one of life's great pleasures and this sounds so easy.....and there's that fat leftover from French fries from the other day.....and my Grandson's coming over.

Ok Shirley, I haven't had supper yet, and it appears I need to be at your house cause I just know you have some of these sitting around close to the coffee pot LOL Gotta make these up, would do it this weekend if I wasn't going to be so busy getting my house back in order with taking down and storing all those Christmas decorations.
