Oh my goodness. I didn't think this recipe actually existed and that it was simply an urban myth!! (OK, so I'm not American...) I am going to make this when I can find harina (is it anything like polenta?) and a recipe for genuine 'biscuits'! How exciting!

LOL!! Wow. You actually put this one into print (or screen) dude. There is nothing better than some steak & gravy with grits and biscuits! Nothing but pure comfort here. I let mine sit in a really "wet" gravy in the oven for about an hour 'til it's fall-apart tender, though. Only difference. Well...that and a little garlic in the mix somewhere.
