Authentic Spanish Ricesidedish

- 2 cups long grain white rice shopping list
- 1 tbsp bacon grease shopping list
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 3-1/2 cups chicken broth/stock shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt...less if using broth or bouillion shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cilantro shopping list
How to make it
- Melt bacon grease in med saucepan with tight fitting lid.
- fry rice in grease until it turns orange in color stir frequently, don't burn it.
- Stir in all other ingredients, be careful, it might splatter, and bring to boil
- lower heat to simmer and cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- after time is up, turn off heat, and leave it covered until serving
- stir up with fork before serving with Tacos, Fajitas, flautas, Burritos or any Spanish/Mexican entree!!

This is nice to know. Until now I was guilty of "saucy"! But I like it either way so far....Maybe I'll like this the best!
