Bagels and Eggels

- 4 bagels, plain, multigrain, etc. (fruit ones aren't as good) shopping list
- 8 eggs shopping list
- 8 cheese slices shopping list
- salt & pepper shopping list
- butter or margarine shopping list
- cooking spray shopping list
How to make it
- Line shallow baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Slice bagels in half and cut out centers to produce holes about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Butter each bagel half and place buttered side down on prepared baking sheet.
- Crack one egg into each bagel hole.
- Top each egg with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake until eggs are set (I like them runny, my family likes them firm)
- Top each egg-bagel with a cheese slice and return to oven to melt cheese.
- Serve hot.

I had this for lunch today and I really liked it! The only thing I did differently was I had some shredded cheese open so that is what I used. I cooked mine for 12 minutes, put the cheese on and then cooked for another 3. I liked how the bagel bot...more
