Okay, we were fond of these Ice Picks back in my college days and we never mixed them one drink at a time - ha! This recipe is presented only as a reference for bigger creations. Us Southern gals grew up with the best sweetened iced tea because every household drank it everyday. Read more We made it by the gallon pitchers all the time. As such, we would make a big pitcher of sweetened ice tea and would mix these drinks straight into our ready tea glasses. You only need a hint of lemon to keep it from overpowering the taste. But caution - because the vodka melds into the sweetened lemon iced tea so seamlessly, they can be lethal before you know it. =) Enjoy. See less
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz vodka shopping list
- 6 oz iced tea (we used freshly brewed tea, sweetened to taste - and if you want a diet version, use your favorite non-caloric sweetener, like Equal - or if you prefer, you can use brewed unsweetened tea, if you are so inclined) shopping list
- fresh lime/lemon juice shopping list
- ice cubes shopping list
How to make it
- Add ice cubes to glass.
- Pour desired amount of vodka over ice.
- Top with iced tea to fill.
- Stir in lime/lemon to taste.
- Don't drive anywhere.
- Bring a good friend to lean against when you start listing to one side. And you will. ;-)

I have my gallon pitcher already for this drink when we have our super bowl party.
If it taste like ice tea then I can see why the word of caution.
