How to make it

  • In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt and pepper.
  • Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish and marinade salmon in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once.
  • Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake salmon uncovered 20 minutes or until it easily flakes with a fork.

Love this recipe!!! Very flavorful! My salmon did take a bit longer than the recipe states but that was because I had honkin giant salmons! This could easily be done on the grill as well and I might try it that way! Hope you like the pic. and since you mentioned this recipe might be on AR I think I'll look for it over there to post the pic. too! Thanks Frankieanne!

I love salmon, and when I get a chance to catch some, I freeze them until I can use them. Five from me.

Just heard about your recipe from borinda and it definitely sounds like a winner. Soon as I have some salmon on hand I will plan on making it.
