These are so easy to make and taste fantastic. After you fry them and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on them try a couple with some hot chocolate or coffee..soooo good!

Ingredients
  • Frozen white dinner roll dough (10 rolls) I use the Rhodes brand.
  • Cooking oil for deep fat frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

Directions
  1. Cover the dough with a towel or plastic and thaw at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in an frying pan or deep-fat fryer to 375*.
  3. Combine the sugar and cinnamon;set aside.
  4. Stretch each piece of dough into a flat ear shape.
  5. Fry, a few at a time, for about 1 1/2 minutes per side or until browned.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

This recipe aounds really good and easy. I have never heard of Elephant Ears except for the plant with the huge leaves, I love those. I have some but my landlord's horses kept getting out and coming into our yard to eat my plants. LOL

I made these today and they are already almost all gone. That means I have 4 left! So good and so easy to make. The kids absolutely loved them and so do I! Where do you get such cute recipes? They do taste just like the ones at the fair only these are manageable for eating =D


Are you crazy, girl?? All I need to do is slap them on my hips! Looks very yummy and I like the Rhodes brand.
