Ingredients

Frozen white dinner roll dough (10 rolls) I use the Rhodes brand.

Cooking oil for deep fat frying

1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp butter, melted

Directions

Cover the dough with a towel or plastic and thaw at room temperature for about 2 hours.

Heat oil in an frying pan or deep-fat fryer to 375*.

Combine the sugar and cinnamon;set aside.

Stretch each piece of dough into a flat ear shape.

Fry, a few at a time, for about 1 1/2 minutes per side or until browned.

Drain on paper towels.

Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.

This recipe aounds really good and easy. I have never heard of Elephant Ears except for the plant with the huge leaves, I love those. I have some but my landlord's horses kept getting out and coming into our yard to eat my plants. LOL
