Richards Mexican Seasoning Salt
From oldgringo 16 years agoIngredients
- 12 parts salt shopping list
- 3 parts sugar shopping list
- 3 parts fine ground dried ancho chile shopping list
- 3 parts fine ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 part pepper, fine ground cayenne shopping list
- 1 part fine ground Mexican oregano shopping list
- 1 part fine ground cumino shopping list
- 1 part crushed dried basil leaves shopping list
- 1 part onion powder shopping list
- 1 part garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- This is a new seasoning salt I have been testing for a Mexican or Southwestern flavor. I use it exactly like my Spicy Seasoning Salt, which I've used for over thirty years.
- Mix ingredients together and keep in airtight container. Use as you would use salt on meat, poultry, seafood, etc.
