SHRIMP BOG This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Stinson Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992.

Yummmm.

MMM, this sounds great, I will try this one too.

I made this last night but cut it in half for just the two of us. I'd never had anything called a "Bog". This is great. So different from other things I've cooked. My hubby took two bites and fell in love. He got up this morning and told me he had a dream. He wants the leftovers this morning with two eggs, over easy, on top. Haaa haaa. If that's not love, I don't know what is!

OK - I just warmed up leftovers and put over easy eggs on top for hubbies breakfast (well, brunch). It's a big hit! I'd give you another 5 if I could.

This sounds wonderful - and I mean really wonderful... I was searching for a shrimp dish to do something a little different - and I saw the bacon I had... you are giving me ideas but good! I have never tried a 'bog' let alone walking through one (which you can't) so if I don't try this tonight - I will definitely try it the next time I do shrimp!
thanks again chefmeow for something new and oh so different!

Made this for dinner tonight. It was really tasty and made enough for another meal or two (for 2). Will for sure make it again in the future. Only very minor modification was to cover again just before serving to ensure that shrimp were cooked through. I used very large Costco shrimp.

Tried this the other day, not one of our favorites, can think of better things to do with shrimp.
