Ingredients

2 sticks of real butter softened shopping list
2c. self rising flour shopping list
8oz. sour cream shopping list

How to make it

Mix first two ingredients
Add sour cream
Drop by spoonful into muffin tins
Bake at 450 for 10 min.

I always have trouble making biscuits. Mine are always hockey pucks. My Maw Maw and my Mother make biscuits that are terrific, but I'm missing that gene. This looks like a recipe that I can do!! I

I made these biscuits tonight and OMG they are wonderful. So fluffy, moist and nice and golden brown on the bottom. My husband liked them better than my usual biscuits and he thought they were good. He doesn't like sour cream so that's our little secret :) I will be making these again and again. Thanks for sharing!

Now I don't want to sound ignorant, I take it these biscuits are not a sweet treat for the kids and have seen a lot of American recipes for "biscuits" are these eaten with a stew perhaps?
