Un-petroleum Jelly

This is not a food, but a recipe none the less. I made a lot of my own lotions, soaps etc. This is great for dry skin and lips.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce (weight) beeswax shopping list
- 1/2 cup any oil. (I use olive because I always have it on hand but you can use sweet almond, avacado etc.) shopping list
How to make it
- Melt the beeswax in a microwave or a double boiler. Stir in the oil. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir until cool.

This is excellent, I've been trying to post a topic under my group Natural Recipes, and inside it I mention that petroleum based products are made from a nonrenewable resource. Also along with mineral oil, it's bad for your skin anyway and a man made...more
