Brownie Goody Bars

A rich crispy brownie almost like a candy bar...A little goes a long way with this one..I got this recipe off the back of a Duncan Hines brownie box..
Ingredients
- 1 box of any brownie mix (13 x 9 size) shopping list
- 1 container of whipped vanilla frosting shopping list
- 3/4 cup salted peanuts, coarsley chopped shopping list
- 3 cups chrispy rice cereal shopping list
- 1 cup cream peanut butter shopping list
- 1 bag (12 oz size) semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees and make brownies per directions
- on box
- Cool completely
- Frost brownies with vanilla frosting mix
- Sprinkle with chopped peanuts
- Refrigerate for a few minutes
- Meanwhile into a large bowl measure out cereal and set aside
- In quart size saucepan melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat. stirring constantly
- Pour this hot mixture over cereal in bowl and mix throughly
- Spread over frosted brownies
- Let set for about 30 minutes then cut into bars
