Brownie Goody Bars Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees and make brownies per directions
  • on box
  • Cool completely
  • Frost brownies with vanilla frosting mix
  • Sprinkle with chopped peanuts
  • Refrigerate for a few minutes
  • Meanwhile into a large bowl measure out cereal and set aside
  • In quart size saucepan melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat. stirring constantly
  • Pour this hot mixture over cereal in bowl and mix throughly
  • Spread over frosted brownies
  • Let set for about 30 minutes then cut into bars
Out Of The Oven   Close
Plated...Ready to Serve   Close

    This recipe looks "Sinful!"...but delicious! I was wondering if maybe you could put these in the fridge (to get cold)..and then cut them into bite size pieces...(you said they were like a candy bar). I need to make something for a Bake Sale..and thought these would really be a treat and go a long way! Can't wait to try these!

    These bars are going to be very dangerous to my waistline, but for the sake of cooking/baking science I will bite the bullet - or the brownie bar, and give this one a try.
