Baked Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
This sticky, baked chicken is wonderful for potlucks or a family picnic. It goes great with baked beans, corn on the cob, and potato salad.

Ingredients
  • 2 cut up whole chickens
  • ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce (scant) add H20 to make up difference
  • ¼ tsp. Ginger
  • ¼ tsp. Garlic Powder

Directions
  1. Brown the chicken and place in an 13 x 9 baking pan.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together and bring to a boil.
  3. Take off stove and pour over chicken and bake.
  4. Baste twice with sauce from pan while baking.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for ½ to ¾ of an hour.

Made it with a turkey, so no pic or review. Maybe next time. Turkey did NOT turn out well.

Going to have to nuke the turkey or something. I don't think it's done. On the tough side but too brown to put in the oven. Nothing wrong with the recipe though.
