- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/4 C chopped green pepper shopping list
- 2 Tbl. all-purpose flour (Do not use self-rising flour!) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes shopping list
- 2 C shredded cheddar cheese (about 8 ounces) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 C milk shopping list
- 1 Tbl. vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 C all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 Tbl. chopped green onions shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet until brown; drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce, green pepper, 2 Tbl. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, the pepper and parsley.
- Heat to boiling.
- Boil and stir 1 minute.
- Pour into ungreased baking pan, 13X9X2-inches.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Beat eggs, milk, oil, 1 cup flour and 1/2 tsp. salt with hand beater; pour over cheese. Sprinkle with onions.
- Bake until puffy and golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately.

Wow, this sounds SO good! I was actually looking for something new to do with the mushrooms in my fridge (they really *have* to be used today!), but this would be perfect on this snowy day. Maybe I'll just add sauteed mushrooms to the beef & see what...more
