The first time I tried crab rangoons was in the north east and I fell in love with them. I really like the addition of the old bay seasoning.
Thanks

I adore crab meat rangoon - and even had a Chinese restaurant put it on their menu - just for me - can you believe? (I had moved to a new town and their Chinese Restaurant hadn't heard of these now very common and appealing appetizers - it was months I would go back, then one time I ordered for delivery and they put an order in for me for free and thanked me for telling them about it) - well - now, thanks to you of course! I can make these myself....how extra great - thank you sooo much for posting one of my ultimate fave's - and I love the Maryland twist :-P)
Got my high five and flagged it a beauty!

I moved to Cali from the mid-west and crab-rangoon are very difficult to find here. I once heard they aren't chinese at all, but invented in St. Louis.
It makes sense as cream cheese isn't very Chinese. Either way I love these suckers and I've made them before, but never with bay seasoning. Thanks for the recipe.

Now I have a recipe for one of our favorite snacks I can make myself and not waste gas fetching them from the neighborhood Chinese food restaurant.
Thank you
Michael

Sounds great! I love just about anything crab, and this sounds like an interesting twist on the typical Chinese appetizer!
