Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken,washed and insides cleaned
  • 3 tblspn chillie powd
  • 1 and a half tblspn coriander and cumin pwd
  • 1/2 tspn tumeric powd
  • 1/2 tblspn black pepper
  • 1 tlspn ground ginger and garlic
  • a good dash of lemon juice
  • a good dash of ketchup
  • a tblspn of oil (just to make a paste)
  • salt to taste(try and add extra so that it goes into the chicken)
  • 1 tblspn mixed herbs
  • butter

Directions
  1. form a paste with above ingred
  2. lift skin around thigh and breast area and smear mixture in
  3. smear the rest over and inside chicken
  4. put chicken on oven tray and put in oven
  5. at 200 degrees for 1/2 an hour ,lower to 180 degrees for 1 hour(remember to dollop butter on top wen turning chicken every 15 min)
  6. wen chicken is done,remove and cover with foil and let it rest before serving
