	spam corny pancake syrup

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups pancake mix

1 cup milk

8 oz can creamed corn

1 egg

1 tablespoon cookin' oil

7 oz can SPAM, finely chopped

Maple syrup

Directions

Combine pancake mix, milk, corn, egg and oil.

Stir in SPAM.

Pour 1/3 cup of batter on greased fryin' pan and cook over medium heat until browned on bottom.

Turn over and brown other side.

Serve with maple syrup!

Both my husband and myself HATE creamed corn, but I put it in anyway because the first time I try a recipe I ALWAYS make it as written, then decide if I want/need to make any changes. And you are right, Spam is big in Hawaii. My favorite movie, 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore takes place in Hawaii. And you see Spam everywhere. The cook at the diner even offers to make him scrambled eggs with Spam and Reece's. LOL
