Shirley, you are my hero! REALLY looking forward to trying this one. I wonder if it would work with yellow cake and vanilla pudding, since my oldest doesn't like chocolate cake (a child of mine - unbelievable!)

This sounds awesome! I have lots of crockpot dessert recipes. They are getting better and better all the time. I have tried many ingredients, as long as the basics are the same. You can add dried fruit, like cherries, or orange peel. With yellow cake, use apricots or pineapple. Use your imagination!

I made this for the 2nd time yesterday, for a family party. It works just as well with yellow cake, vanilla pudding, and white chocolate bits. Delicious, especially with whipped cream. Just 1 thing: don't forget and leave the crockpot on low, switch it to warm after the 4 or 5 hour cooking time! I forgot about it, and spent 20 minutes after the party last night chiseling the remains off the sides of my slow cooker!
