Crockpot dessert? Now I HAVE seen everything. Another one for the culinary laboratory this weekend. Egor! EGOR! Get my crockpot out of the dungeon (in very bad Eastern European accent) *MuahHAAAHAHAHAAAHAaa* ;) Looks fantastic shirl!

Does this pull out of the crockpot or do you scoop it out or what?? how do you serve it?? Ideas?

Sounds rich and delicious! I can't wait to try this! Thank you so much, Shirley!

Time to get out the crockpot. Looks delicious. Thanks for posting. :)

Wow! This doesn't sound like a recipe for the faint of heart! Great post. I love crock pot recipes.

Love chocolate, and this sounds decadent. Great post. Got my 5 for presentation and yummie flavor.

Love cooking with the crockpot and this sounds great and looks super! You have my 5. Thanks for a great post!

So interresting!! thanks for the pictures.

Shirley, you are my hero! REALLY looking forward to trying this one. I wonder if it would work with yellow cake and vanilla pudding, since my oldest doesn't like chocolate cake (a child of mine - unbelievable!)

Great recipe...have a crocpot that gets little or no use...this is worth a go for a sunday night winter dessert...Thanks for posting another great one...happy Days

This sounds awesome! I have lots of crockpot dessert recipes. They are getting better and better all the time. I have tried many ingredients, as long as the basics are the same. You can add dried fruit, like cherries, or orange peel. With yellow cake, use apricots or pineapple. Use your imagination!

This is a must try! Can't wait to give it a go.
Yummmmmmmmy.

This was.....well i felt like I should've been wearing lace LOLOLOLOLOL Thanks shirly we all loved it what do you think about butterscotch chips and pudding with a spice cake? Do you think it would still come out right?(served with butter pecan ice cream)

Just the thought of this is heaven! I can't wait to try this!

I made this for the 2nd time yesterday, for a family party. It works just as well with yellow cake, vanilla pudding, and white chocolate bits. Delicious, especially with whipped cream. Just 1 thing: don't forget and leave the crockpot on low, switch it to warm after the 4 or 5 hour cooking time! I forgot about it, and spent 20 minutes after the party last night chiseling the remains off the sides of my slow cooker!
