My variation is for easy quick beans: I use frozen Green Beans sautee them in olive oil with garlic powder, onion powder or whatever and sautee until brown spots appear!

Ooo! Cannot wait until the spring thaw so I can grow a garden full of these again. I love roasted beans, especially tossing a little garlic in with a handful of pinenuts.
