Thanks Otter! yes, I always use 93 percent lean ground beef. I use lowfat cream cheese, becuase there is so much more flavor than fat free, and not much difference in content. Can't wait to hear how it turns out!

    Creole Seasoning
From Prime Time Emeril (Canada, UK), by Emeril Lagasse.

    Ingredients:
    2-1/2 tablespoons paprika
    2 tablespoons salt
    2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon cayenne
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    1 tablespoon dried thyme

    Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Store in an airtight container away from light. Use within three months.

    Yield: Makes about 2/3 cup.

I have put together the shopping list for what I don't have. I will only be changing two things for my diet: Eggstirs instead of eggs, 93/7 ground beef and non-fat cream cheese. With those changes this calculates out to a surprising low-fat meal that fits easily within my carb restrictions. Leaves room for a nice salad side dish. Thanks and I'll let you know how it turns and out and try to remember to take a picture.

Sounds interesting. I'm trying to picture what the crust comes out like. Don't the noodles go beyond chewy?
