SIMPLY SMASHING SALSA

- 3 cups tomatoes, finely chopped. shopping list
- 1 cup white onion, finely chopped, rinsed under cold water and thoroughly drained. shopping list
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped. shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice. shopping list
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped shopping list
- 1-3 tablespoons jalapeno peppers, finely chopped, seeds included (adjust to your taste). shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin. shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt. shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. shopping list
How to make it
- Place onion in a colander, rinse under cold water and thoroughly drain.
- Mix ingredients in a non-reactive bowl and let stand for a minimum of 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Best served fresh at room temperature.

Sounds Great! How many tomatoes does it take to make 3 cups? I don't usually eat tomatoes! But I love them in Salsa as long as they are cut up really fine! lol Thanks for the great recipe! Can't wait to try it!
