How to make it

  • Place onion in a colander, rinse under cold water and thoroughly drain.
  • Mix ingredients in a non-reactive bowl and let stand for a minimum of 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Best served fresh at room temperature.

    My family love this salsa. I did add a clove of garlic and reduced the cilantro to 1/4 cup. It is also excellent on a baked potato for a healthy topping instead of butter or sour cream.

    Sounds Great! How many tomatoes does it take to make 3 cups? I don't usually eat tomatoes! But I love them in Salsa as long as they are cut up really fine! lol Thanks for the great recipe! Can't wait to try it!
