Tammys Spanish Rice

- 1 LB. hamburger CHUCK shopping list
- YOUR CHOICE OF seasoningS shopping list
- 2 PKGS LIPTON Spanish rice shopping list
- 1 CAN Rotel tomatoes shopping list
- 1 yellow onion (DICED) shopping list
- 1/2 CUP green onions (DICED) shopping list
- 1/2 CUP bell pepper, RED, GREEN, OR YELLOW (DICED) shopping list
- butter shopping list
- parsley shopping list
- 4 CUPS water shopping list
How to make it
- BROWN HAMBURGER MEAT DRAIN GREASE
- IN A SEPARATE SKILLET SAUTE THE ONIONS AND BELL PEPPER
- IN A DEEP POT COMBINE: HAMBURGER MEAT, VEGETABLES, BOTH PACKAGES OF LIPTON SPANISH RICE, ROTEL TOMATOES AND 4 CUPS OF WATER, PARSLEY AND 2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER AND YOUR SEASONINGS. (I USE NATURES SEASONING)
- BRING TO A BOIL
- BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES
- TURN HEAT DOWN TO MEDIUM AND LET DISH COOK UNTIL DONE..
- THE PICTURE IS NOT MY RECIPE FOR SPANISH RICE! MINE IS SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THIS BUT REMEMBER MY RECIPE HAS HAMBURGER MEAT, ROTELS AND GREEN ONIONS.

This sounds quite good, I grew up on spanish rice made with bacon, wonder how this recipe would be if you substituted fried crisp bacon in place of the hamburger??? Great post, you got my 5
