The Dessert Place Peaches and Cream Cheesecake

- *Crust* shopping list
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted shopping list
- *Filling* shopping list
- 2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel shopping list
- 2 tablespoons pureed peaches shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 2 cups peeled, diced, drained fresh peaches shopping list
- **Glaze** shopping list
- 2 to 3 peeled thinly sliced peaches shopping list
- 1/2 cup peach preserves, heated shopping list
How to make it
- For the crust, combine ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan
- For the filling; beat cream cheese at medium speed until fluffy.
- Gradually add sugar and mix well.
- Scrape down sides of bowl and then add flour, vanilla, lemon peel and puree.
- Combine well.
- Add eggs and yolks slowly, along with peaches
- Pour filling into prepared pan
- Bake at 500 degrees for 10(TEN) minutes
- Turn oven down to 250 degrees and bake for another 60 - 90 minutes or until the center is firm to the touch.
- Cool cake at room temperatur for 1 hour and then put in the refrigerator to chill.
