This is a very nice and very comforting smothered recipe sure to please all the beef and gravy lovers in your life. Greatness. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 16 ounces ground lean beef
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1-3/4 cups beef broth
- 6 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
- 2 cups thin sliced onions
- 3 tablespoons flour
Directions
- In large bowl combine meat, black pepper and 1/4 cup broth.
- Mix well with hands to combine then form 6 patties.
- Place patties in skillet sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray and brown on both sides.
- Layer onion evenly over browned patties.
- In a covered jar combine remaining broth and flour then shake until well blended.
- Pour broth mixture evenly over onions then lower heat.
- Cover and simmer 25 minutes.
