Blt Salad with Bacon Dressing

All the ingredients of a BLT but the bread
Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped shopping list
- 2 tomatoes, seeded and sliced shopping list
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled shopping list
- bacon Dressing shopping list
- 4 tbls. mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1 tbls. balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1 tbls. lemon juice, fresh shopping list
- 2 tbls. shallots, minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce, (I use Franks) shopping list
- 1 tbls. parsley, finely chopped shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Put lettuce, tomato, onion, and 1/2 of bacon in salad bowl
- In mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients of dressing, including other 1/2 of bacon, until blended
- Pour over salad or serve on side

Truly ineresting. Nice balance of ingredients. I will bookmark it as is is similar to the BLT dip we use. OK, it is also interesting on it's own. Cripes, I can never seem to find the right words.
