Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened (do not substitute) !
  • 1 and 1/2 cups (6 ounces) Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Dash of Salt and Paprika
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Corn Flakes Cereal, crushed
  • 1/2 finely chopped Almonds(plain, or smoked)

Directions
  1. POSITION knife blade in food processor bowl;
  2. ADD butter and cheese
  3. PROCESS until blended
  4. ADD flour, salt, and paprika; process until mixture forms a ball, stopping often to scrape down sides.
  5. ADD crushed cereal and almonds
  6. PULSE 4 times
  7. SHAPE dough into 1/2 inch balls
  8. PLACE balls about 2 inches apart on UNGREASED baking sheets
  9. FLATTEN each ball in a 'crisscross' pattern with a fork dipped in flour
  10. BAKE at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned
  11. REMOVE to wire racks to cool
