Super Simple Salmon
From shepherdrescue 15 years agoIngredients
- fresh salmon, at least 1/4 lb. per person and 3/4" to 1" thick. (If you are grilling it's better to get salmon with the skin still on) shopping list
- Fresh lemon juice, about half a lemon per pound of salmon shopping list
- salt or seasoned salt shopping list
- dill (fresh or dried) shopping list
- Freshly ground pepper shopping list
- extra virgin olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse the salmon in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Squeeze lemon over one side of fish.
- Drizzle a bit of olive oil over same side.
- Season to your taste with salt, dill and pepper.
- Rub in and repeat on other side.
- Broil or grill 3 to 5 minutes on side one. You will be able to see how done the fish is on the side. Once it's cooked half way through, flip and grill an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
- I serve this with rice and asparagus. Simple, easy and good for you! And the fur kids too!
