Easy Smoked Meat

- 4-6 lbs beef, pork, chicken or turkey with or without bones. shopping list
- 1 T liquid smoke per lb of meat shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Season meat with salt and pepper
- Place in slow cooker sprayed with no stick spray.
- Pour over liquid smoke.
- Cook on low until meat is done, depending on type of meat and size, this should take 4-6 hours.
- Shred or pull apart meat and serve in a variety of ways. As is on hard rolls, with BBQ sauce if you've smoked ribs, add chicken or turkey to rice, burritos, etc., or use to make a cold smoky chicken salad. See Photo
- *also, the liquid produced is a nice smoky stock for soups or to use in place of water for cooking rice.

Nice recipe Keni: Recipe comes out exactly to spec. House smells good. Meat tastes good. Sure glad I didn't step in it.

I finally tried this on a bigger piece of salmon. I had a 1 pound filet and I cooked it on high for 3.5 hours and it came out perfectly. The smokey taste was all through the salmon - clear to the skin. I added a picture. Thanks, Keni!
