How to make it

  • Melt butter and cook the onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes.Remove from pan and set aside
  • Coat the chicken with the flour and seasonings
  • Reheat the butter in the pan and cook the chicken for about 15 minutes
  • Stir in the stock ,port and vegetables and bring to the boil.
  • Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until tender.
  • Add the cream and re-heat without boiling
