Chicken in port

- 4 chicken breasts shopping list
- 1oz butter shopping list
- 8oz mushrooms thinly sliced shopping list
- 11/2 oz flour shopping list
- 2tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/4 pint chicken stock shopping list
- 5tbsp port shopping list
- 1/4 pint double cream shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and cook the onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes.Remove from pan and set aside
- Coat the chicken with the flour and seasonings
- Reheat the butter in the pan and cook the chicken for about 15 minutes
- Stir in the stock ,port and vegetables and bring to the boil.
- Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Add the cream and re-heat without boiling
