A Glass of Water Recipe

How to make it

  • Listen to the tinkle of the ice as you slide it slowly into the glass
  • Pour water over ice cubes
  • Lift glass slowly and close your eyes.
  • Bring glass towards lips
  • Take a sip and lick lips.
  • Contemplate akiss.
  • Bring glass to lips again and drink the rest of the water
  • Thank God that you are alive
  • Refill glass as many times as you want

    I was looking around for a recipe for a glass of water because I had to for a small coding project(don't ask) when I found this. As soon as I read the last instruction on the web, I was like "what the-" and now here I am, 13 years later, damn. Anyways, this recipe made my day thank you very much and have a good day I guess from the future ok now bye bye :D

    instructions unclear. i tried this and ended up becoming a prisoner of war serving time in a maximum security prison facility in northern iraq. send help. Obama i need your help

    Darn, I’ve secretly been working on developing this very same recipe. I just didn't quite have it perfected yet. I had been testing putting the water in the glass first and then adding the ice. It tasted good but I the crackling sound of the ice was different when the water hit the cubes. I had not decided which way produced the best results when I found this post. Foiled again!

    You’re not by any chance working on a How to Boil Water recipe are you? That is my next project.

    The local tap water is so gross. For it to be clean water, they have to dump lots of chlorine and other chemicals in it. And then they have to make it a little dirty so it can be safe enough to drink. xD
    My favorite ice water recipe is from Sonic's. Their crushed ice is to die for.

    I was passing thru, saw what looked like "A Glass of Water Recipe" and had to double back. After reading it, I had to get up, walk into my kitchen, and add FOUR cubes of ice to my glass of water! Once I returned to my seat & got comfortable again, I read the comments as I sipped.

    I too have been making this recipe for years . In fact I've given up soft drinks because of it.
    And now w/ an automatic ice maker I can make it anytime ;-D
