How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking dish
  • Cook noodles according to package, drain
  • In large skillet, combine sausage and cook over medium high heat until lightly pink
  • Add chicken and continue cooking till no longer pink
  • Remove meat from skillet, leaving as much grease in pan as possible
  • Add onion & garlic to skillet, cook for 5 minutes or till tender
  • Remove pan from heat
  • Stir meat back in and add Chili Powder
  • Stir in ONE jar of alfredo sauce, chicken both and Asiago Cheese
  • In medium bowl, combine ricotta, egg & basil.
  • Spread a thin layer over bottom of prepared pan
  • Top with half of remaining jar of Alfredo sauce
  • Arrange 4 noodles over sauce
  • Spread 1/3 of meat mixture over noodles
  • Arrange half of spinach & mushrooms over meat mixture
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzerella cheese & dot with 1/2 of ricotta mixture
  • Repeat procedure with remaining ricotta mixture,alfredo sauce, noodles, meat mixture, spinach & mushrooms & mozzerella
  • Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving
  • Tip: I used more of ricotta & mozzerella, our family likes CHEESE

    I have tried this recipe, ( I get Paulas recipes in email) This is fantastic and it's easy, cheesey and it was enough for us to have for supper and lunch the next day.

    This will be great to feed my kids(twin 22 year old construction workers). That way I can have some without any left overs . Cuz I would eat that too. L.

    This is certainly a "must try." I'll make a vegetarian verasion, but this sounds very adaptable. (More cheese?? Good grief--my arteries are probably in enough trouble!!) Thanks for the recipe!
