  • Copycat A1 Sauce

  • EASY and Delicious!
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Raisins
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup White Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh or Bottled Grated Orange Peel
  • 2 Tbsp Heinz Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Heinz Chili Sauce

Directions
  1. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Remove from heat. Allow to cool to lukewarm.
  3. Put mixture in a blender till it is pureed. Pour in
  4. clean bottle or jar.
  5. Cap tightly and refrigerate to use within 90 days.

It seems that I have hit the "jack-pot" today with great
"copy-cat" recipes! I always wanted to find out just "what"
was in "A-1" sauce, that made it taste so Good!

Now this sounds really good,Must admit never heard of bottled Grated Orange Peel.Is that the same as Orange Marmalade and if not would think it could be used?Thanks.


I think the marmalade will be fine Jenny. Make
sure it blends in well.

IF you wish to, might be a good idea to double
or triple (if you have room in the frig)? I find it is even good in/or with meatloaf!

I'm wondering if I could sub the white vinegar with Balsamic Vinegar?????


Taste test a small amount and see..you like it better ..GO FOR IT..I do with all my recipes!!
(that is one reason country cooking is soooo cool..versatile!) :)
