Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix sugar, salt and butter thoroughly then add egg and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon then add to mixture and chill overnight.
  • For glaze mix all ingredients together until smooth.
  • Roll dough out until it is 1/8" thick then cut into fancy shapes.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350.
  • Allow to cool then glaze.

    I had a problem rolling these out so I made them as drop cookies - and I used a decoritive tip for the icing. They came out tasting wonderfully! Hope you like the pic!
