Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut broccoli crowns into individual pieces and arrange in bottom of 13 X 9 greased dish or casserole
  • Sprinkle chicken pieces over top of broccoli pieces
  • Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, celery seed, onion and garlic powders, and basil, pour over chicken and broccoli mix (don't worry it won't cover everything completely, just spread it around over the top as much as you can)
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top
  • Combine bread/panko crumbs and butter and sprinkle over cheese
  • Sprinkle tarragon over top of bread crumbs
  • BAKE: at 350 for 30-40 minutes until top is golden and crispy, remove from oven and let it rest for approximately 10 minutes before serving. Goes well served with rice or noodles. Enjoy!!

I recommend using half the spices, or less, if you only do one can of soup. And add some milk to thin it out a bit, especially if you're serving it with rice or noodles. I doubled the soup and used all the spices called for, which was super flavorful but would be far too overpowering with one can of soup. 5***** with the changes!

Thanks Sister Dear. I'm overloaded with leftover turkey and have been pining for this old family recipe which I had lost.

We loved this last night! So very good and comforting. I did use low fat mayo and omitted the curry since I had none. Made my own cream o' soup and added some sauteed mushrooms to the mix since we love them. Served with buttered egg noodles. Kiddos loved it and so did we...thanks Lobster!
