This is one of my favorite recipes! They are delicious - I had them in Oaxaca and never dared to make it on my own. Thank you for posting it, I will certainly try them!

Very nice. I have lots of Poblanos this time of year and Rellenos is my favorite way to fix them. I will be trying this one soon... Jim

If there was a 10-fork this would be it! I LOVE, LOVE stuffed poblanos! But I do it with the usual sauteed ground round, minced potatoes & carrots then I whisk an egg, cover the filling and fry. Very plain. I'm definitely trying your recipe this week! This is great! Thanks Til!!!

Love chile rellenos! My favorite Mexican dish. I always stick the fresh peppers into the gas stovetop burners, and char the skin...then wrap them into a damp dish towel (or in a paper bag) so they steam, a little and the skins peels off easily. I also remove the seeds. I do the same with anaheim chile peppers...is that what you do?
