French-fried Potato Skewers

- 2 medium sized raw potatoes cut into chunks shopping list
- canola oil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- beef gravy from roast, or canned gravy shopping list
How to make it
- skewer the potato pieces onto a wooden skewer
- do not allow the pieces to touch each other to ensure even browning
- heat the canola oil on medium heat
- deep fry until warm, golden brown
- serve in a dish with hot gravy!
- Simple yet it adds a delightful bit of flair to the main course!
- NOTE:
- This recipe very easily doubles, triples, etc.
