Asian Inspired Asparagus Haiku

I love asparagus, but I get bogged down in it always tasting the same. I wanted an asparagus dish that was true to the vegetable, but would also complement a spicy asian dish. Haiku naturally.
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus, washed and ends trimmed shopping list
- 1 shallot sliced finely shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, smashed and sliced finely shopping list
- 1 TBSP ginger, sliced finely shopping list
- 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 TBSP Low salt soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Dash ground ginger shopping list
- 1 Dash garlic powder (to taste) shopping list
- red pepper plakes to taste shopping list
- Preheat oven (or toaster oven) to 350 shopping list
How to make it
- Toss spears in spices
- and oils, roast for fifteen
- or less, delicious.
- Ginger, Soy, Green Spears

Great dish. Would be using Extra Virgin Olive Oil myself. Just happen to have some fresh Asparagus in the fridge. Will be preparing this tonight.
