I love asparagus, but I get bogged down in it always tasting the same. I wanted an asparagus dish that was true to the vegetable, but would also complement a spicy asian dish. Haiku naturally.

I almost liked it and then I saw the "EVOO" reference. I just can't take it. I admit I have a problem but just don't care.

You don't like olive oil???? you do have a problem.

I don't like "EVOO" or any other Rachel Reyism... I *love* olive oil and the only olive oil I recognize is extra virgin olive oil but Rachel Rey is the devil and EVOO is a gimmicky, Food Networkitized piece of crap label that is like fingernails in my pea soup.

Bonus points given
for extended haiku prose.
Now craving green spears.

EVOO was used long before Rachel Ray its not my fault she ruined it for you...but out of respect for my favorite, sensitive whacked boy cook, I have amended it.

Great dish. Would be using Extra Virgin Olive Oil myself. Just happen to have some fresh Asparagus in the fridge. Will be preparing this tonight.

Thank you for the great recipe. *5*

PS: And yes, Rachel Rey is the Devil.

EVOO or Extra Virgin Olive Oil - this sounds good.

I made this tonight with Sweet N Spicy Orange Glazed Chicken Wings that I picked up from the Recipe Swap...served also with wild rice...WOW, what a great meal! :) They all went so good together. I did use a bit of butter, and only a dash of the soy, but that's just preference. This is a great addition, AZ, so thank you! :) I added pics...I hope you don't mind.

****OOOOPPPSSS**** I'm so sorry, AZ, I uploaded the wrong pic...:( If you can delete the wings only one, and leave the full dinner, that'd be good...I can't find a way to delete it, myself. I'm so sorry.
